one year out

hi all. sorry i have been mia. we have had the bad virus. took awhile to get better. today is my one year surgery anniversary. i went today for my 1 yr check up. he said i was doing awesome. had my blood work done too. i have lost 116 lbs since surgery and a total of 168 since starting the process.

Happy "Anniversary!" 116... 168... you've done so well, and in just 1 year! Can you believe the difference in yourself and your life today compared to what it was a year ago? I think the transformations are amazing - and it's so good seeing people grow in confidence and get their lives back when being overweight was always like a hurdle you just couldn't quite make it over. Great to hear that your surgeon is pleased. How do YOU feel?

I'm sorry to hear about the virus - we've been passing one around in our family as well. Six people in this house, and all six of us have been through 3 rounds of illness with this little bug. I think just about everyone we know has at least one sickie in their family right now. Yikes!

I hope you're feeling better by now and congrats again on the amazing progress!
